My First Long ride in the desert state of India, Rajasthan.

One fine evening near Ganga I got plan for Rajasthan tour, October is a good time for desert, not too Hot days not too chilly Nights, pleasant Evenings and Mornings will be good for do some walk on desert, so I finalized it will be for One month on my bike, I planned to cover up as many as places of Rajasthan in this tour.

One day before departure for Rajasthan I was a little bit fearful, negative thoughts coming one by one, I am going alone if I met some accident, if my bike puncture at place where no repair shop nearby, if bike will have some big Mechanic problem middle on road, if group of thieves loot my motorbike, if some drunk truck driver hit me at night and run away then who will help me, and many more. I convince my mind, Nothing will happen don’t worry, I will go, enjoy, meet some new people take new experience and will come back safely.

Your mind is the best friend if it is in your control, it makes you powerful, positive, confident, healthy and gives you strength to do something adventurous in your life.

First stop in Capital of India

from Rishikesh, I went to Delhi so many time by bike so it was not very difficult to reach Delhi and enter its pollution. Since last many years my second home in Delhi but didn’t go to visit any monument since last 8years except Kutub Minar with my colleague.

En-route visit before entered in Capital of Rajasthan

I started early in the morning and reached on National Highway 8, this highway had heavy traffic with good condition of the road. My average speed was 70km/hr on this highway till I took the turn for Bhangarh fort, I reached Bhangarh early evening and spend good time in Haunted palace of Bhangarh, and reached Jaipur late evening.

The capital of The Desert state of India-Jaipur

I stayed here four days, Early mornings I started my day after heavy breakfast and some fruits in my bag. I visited most of monuments and markets, some monuments I went early morning and late evening for some different view.

Nahargarh Fort is good for the morning walker and bird lover. It has a very good view of sunrise and sunset. Jaipur city looks amazing in the night from the fort.

Hawa Mahal looks very majestic in decorated light and very quiet in the early morning.

Evening lights of Albert house give different view compare to sunlight.

Samode

Around 40km from Jaipur, Samode village is very peaceful and authentic, People lives here are a generous and very good host(I met Mr Rajesh now he is my friend). This is the place for whom, who want to meet and spent some time with local peoples. Palace and temples are the main attraction. Leather articles like purse, shoes made on pre-order in this village.

Shekhawati (Full of Haveli)

Most attraction is the fresco painting on the wall of heritage hotels and old Havelis. This place is full of Haveli, and many old homes still a good example of a colourful history of the Shekhawati region. I visited Churu, Jhunjhunu, Nawalgarh, Dunlod, Mukundgarh, Fatehpur, Mandawa. From Mandawa to Bikaner en-route visited the temple of God Salasar.

I listen stories of Jaisalmer from Mr.Dilbar a.k.a. Desert boy.

Jodhpur

Popularly known as Blue city of Rajasthan, Good for food lover Sahi Samosa, Mirchi Vada and Mishri Lal ki Lassi is delicious. Most people have rude behaviour and Non-tourist friendly. Sunrise from Jaswant Thada is a most beautiful thing to see in Jodhpur.

In this One-month Bike Tour, I offered many free rides to local people, One of them was the 285km ride to one Army man who was going to his home I drop him at Jodhpur Railway station will remain in my memory.

I ride on top of my high speed at 110km/Hrs for continues more than 30minutes and also my longest ride 397.6km in 7hrs including breakfast and lunch break in my Rajasthan Bike tour. I know it was dangerous but I wanted to ride on high speed for my adventurous soul, I will never do it again with 220cc

I faced Happiness, New experiences, Different culture, Different thought of peoples, Get the knowledge and New friends, listen real stories and Good memories which will remain in my heart forever. I also faced fear, body pain, Misguide, High-priced hotel rooms, lack of sleep, overall it will be memorable this is all mixed-up experience I wanted from my trip.
